Maestro Echoplex EP-2｜ Other Products

Particularly tasty example of one of our favourite tape delays - a valve EP2. Fully serviced by Dr. Huw our echo specialist and sounding superb.
Condition is excellent - pretty exceptional for one of these for sure. Tolex has a few scuffs and dings but is really good for the age. Metal surfaces inside have some minor scratches but are similarly clean.
Complete with original foot switch.
FULL SET OF DETAILED PHOTOS TO FOLLOW (or these can be sent to the purchaser before shipping as needed).
Just back from spending some quality time with our experienced tape echo tech and now the sound of this machine is as good as it looks. Cartridge has been replaced with a new Fulltone ETC-1 cart so it's good to go.
The sound of a well-restored EP-2 is quite something: I sold my EP-3 and Fulltone TTE when I found a good EP-2 (though in fairness I wasn't gigging - the Fulltone is probably the better bet for a gigging musician).
110v US model – will require a powerful step-down transformer for use in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made transformer if required.
Please note that when run in countries with mains supply at 50Hz (like the UK/EU) as opposed to the 60Hz in North America, there is some hum from the motor – this is a physical hum rather than audio and does not affect the operation of the machine.
Price includes VAT at 20% (for sales in UK/EU) - buyers outside the EU please contact us for tax-free prices. VAT-free sales possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number.
