Dewar's Portuguese Smooth is an 8-year-old blended Scotch finished in Portuguese port casks, part of the innovative cask-finish series from master blender Stephanie Macleod. Dewar's, founded in Perth in 1846 and built on the Highland malt of Aberfeldy, double-ages its blends for smoothness, and the port wood adds a layer of ripe fruit to that honeyed house style.Bottled at 80 proof, Portuguese Smooth opens with honeyed malt, ripe orchard fruit and vanilla on the nose, then creamy toffee, toasted almond, red berries and delicate spice on a velvety palate, with a whisper of oak on the finish. It is an easy, indulgent sipper on its own and shines in a whisky sour or a Scotch and ginger. A flavorful, affordable bottle that gives port-finish character without a single-malt price tag.Buy Dewar's Portuguese Smooth 8 Year Port Cask Finish Blended Scotch Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
