Benefits of Color Filters
Yellow - When viewing Mars, AmScope’s yellow filter brings out the polar ice caps, enhances blue clouds in the atmosphere, increases contrast, and brightens desert areas.  In addition, this filter also enhances red and orange features on Jupiter and Saturn and darkens the blue belts near Jupiter's equator
Orange – AmScope’s Orange telescope filter increases the contrast between bright and dark areas, penetrating clouds, and detecting dust storms on Mars. This filter also helps bring out the Great Red Spot on Jupiter by sharpening key details
Light Red – Typically used with large telescopes, AmScope’s red filter sharpens boundaries and increases contrast on Mars, sharpens belt contrast on Jupiter, and brings out surface detail on Saturn
Light Green – Enjoy the scenery by enhancing views of frost patches, surface fogs, and polar projections on Mars, the ring system on Saturn, and belts on Jupiter with AmScope’s light green telescope filter.  This is also perfect as a general-purpose filter when viewing the Moon
Ultra-Light Blue – View details of the atmospheric clouds on Mars, increase contrast of the moon, and bring out details of belts and polar features on Saturn.  Ultra-light blue filters also help the enhancement and contrast of Jupiter's bright areas and cloud boundaries as well as splits the binary star Antares when at a maximum separation
Moon and Skyglow Filter – Eliminate light pollution from street lights and smog with AmScope’s Moon and Skyglow Filter.  Experience more natural colors and sharpened images with this must-have filter!
