On Our Radar｜Lampranthus Sp. - Pink Kaboom｜ Other Products

BIG FABOOSH BLOOM with practically zero maintenance? Yes, please. Lampranthus sp. ‘Pink Kaboom’ is a blindingly bright succulent groundcover that lives up to its name in the most outrageous way. In spring, dense mounds of fleshy green foliage explode into an astounding mass of electric pink daisy-like flowers, creating the kind of color display that may require sunglasses and a neighborly warning.
Growing into a rounded mound about 2' tall and 3' wide, ‘Pink Kaboom’ Lampranthus is fabulous for sunny slopes, dry borders, rock gardens, parking strip plantings, coastal gardens, and low-water landscapes where tough plants need to look spectacular. It even handles poor, hard clay-ish soil once established, proving that glamour does not always require pampering.
Plant Lampranthus sp. ‘Pink Kaboom’ in full sun with good drainage, and give it some water while it settles in. After that, stand back and enjoy the spring flower detonation. Bright, bold, drought tolerant, and deliciously unfussy, this is succulent drama at full volume.
