In the Spotlight｜ Furniture ｜Cast Stone Pedestal

Rooted in a deep appreciation for sculptural form, the Cast Stone Pedestal bridges decorative and fine art traditions with natural authority. Phillips Collection brings gallery-quality presence to the spaces that deserve it most.
Skilled artisans have invested considerable attention in every aspect of the Cast Stone Pedestal, producing a surface that carries the evidence of individual judgment — subtle variation and considered detailing that machine production cannot replicate at any scale or price. The grey coloration is integral — chosen to express rather than merely decorate.
There is a theatricality to the Cast Stone Pedestal that rewards generous placement and unobstructed sightlines rather than corner positioning. Whether placed alone or within a composed vignette, it earns its space without requiring explanation. This is design for those who resist the forgettable and require the enduring from the objects they choose.
For collectors seeking an object that holds visual authority indefinitely, the Cast Stone Pedestal is an exemplary choice. Phillips Collection's studio practice produces work for the long view, and this piece exemplifies that commitment without reservation.
