Taylor NOS 254ce Plus12-String Acoustic Electric

Grand Auditorium versatility with crisp 12-string shimmer, torrefied warmth, and exceptional NOS value

The Taylor NOS 254ce Plus 12-String Acoustic Electric brings together the broad musical range of Taylor's Grand Auditorium body shape, the rich shimmer of a 12-string design, and the smooth, dependable feel players have come to expect from the 200 Series. With its torrefied spruce top, layered Indian rosewood back and sides, and refined Taylor playability, this model delivers a balanced, articulate voice that feels equally at home with powerful strumming, flatpicking, and more detailed fingerstyle work. As a Taylor NOS model, it offers an excellent opportunity to own a premium Taylor 12-String Acoustic Electric at a lower price while still enjoying strong long-term value.

The tonal balance makes this guitar an especially flexible musical tool, with enough depth and projection for full chord work and enough clarity to let more intricate passages ring with definition. C-Class Bracing helps shape a stronger low-end response, improved sustain, and a more musical overall voice, while ES2 electronics provide natural amplified tone for stage and studio use.

Shimmering 12-string response with added torrefied warmth
A torrefied spruce top helps give this model a more open, seasoned response with clear projection and warmth, while layered Indian rosewood back and sides add richness and tonal depth. The 12-string format brings out a lively, chime-like character that makes this guitar especially rewarding for accompaniment, textured rhythm work, and expansive acoustic arrangements.

Comfortable Taylor feel for versatile playing
The Grand Auditorium body shape remains one of Taylor's most player-friendly and adaptable designs, offering strong balance between comfort and projection. A Neo-Tropical mahogany neck, matte neck finish, and Crelicam ebony fretboard help keep the feel smooth and approachable, giving players the control they need for both broad rhythm work and more articulate passages.

Stage-ready performance with premium everyday practicality
Taylor's Expression System 2 helps preserve the guitar's natural acoustic character when amplified, making this a dependable option for live use and recording. The brown Aerocase adds lightweight, practical protection for transport and storage, rounding out a package that feels refined, musical, and ready for regular playing.

Why choose the Taylor NOS 254ce Plus
This model is an excellent choice for players who want a versatile Taylor 12-string with warm torrefied response, clear rosewood-backed shimmer, and dependable onboard electronics. Its comfortable Grand Auditorium design, musical balance, and NOS pricing make it a smart way to step into a premium Taylor 12-String Acoustic Electric for less.
