An Ult Sound DS-4 for sale – a great-sounding ultra-rare Japanese four channel analogue drum synth made by Toyo Gakki and as used by Yellow Magic Orchestra.
In very good condition; it's just been serviced by James Walker at Synth Repair Services and sounds great.
Minor scratches/chips to finish - some paintwork retouched - some slider/switch caps were missing and have been remoulded (they are of a lesser quality than the originals).
Some crackle may happen when pots/sliders not used for a while.
Serviced and in superb working order - presents very well indeed - please see the detailed photos below to assess the condition for yourself.
An unusual and versatile drum synth: trigger via a drum pad, drum machine or output from your DAW. Check the Youtube demos below to get an idea of what’s possible - along similar lines to the great Pearl Syncussion – we usually have one for sale: see all our drum machine listings here.
Uses a 12v power supply - the original Japanese 100v supply can be included if required.
There are currently no known operational faults with this unit - some crackle may be possible when the unit has not been used for some time - this should clear with use.

Price includes VAT at 20% (for sales in UK/EU) - without the tax it will be £805 - buyers outside the EU please contact us.
