Heating Instructions for Our Lamb Bombay Sausage Rolls
Fragrant with curry spices and wrapped in golden pastry, our curried sausage rolls are a proper treat. Here’s how to heat them to perfection:1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).2. Remove any outer packaging.3. Place the sausage rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. It helps prevent sticking and makes clean-up a breeze.4. Baking times (may vary by oven):– From thawed: heat for 15 to 20 minutes– From frozen: allow 30 to 35 minutes5. Check the centre with a food thermometer — it should reach 165°F (74°C) to ensure it’s properly heated through.6. Let it rest for a few minutes before tucking in. The flavors are even better when they’ve had a moment to settle.
A Few Tips:
If the pastry is browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil to prevent it from over-coloring while the inside finishes heating.Avoid microwaving — it softens the pastry and mutes the lovely curry aromas. Oven is best for a crisp finish and bold flavor.Pair with a dollop of mango chutney or a spoonful of yoghurt for a cracking combo.
