Tim Smith Southern Reserve Rye Whiskey is the aged rye from Tim Smith, the Climax, Virginia moonshiner who became a household name on Discovery Channel's Moonshiners and later went legal with Tim Smith Spirits. Best known for Climax Moonshine, Smith developed Southern Reserve from a double-rye recipe he had been refining for years, produced in partnership with Two Trees Distilling.Southern Reserve Rye pours golden amber, and Smith describes notes of spicy toasted American oak giving way to a gentle, warm finish of sweet rye and caramel. It is an approachable, easy-drinking rye made for the same crowd that made Climax Moonshine a hit: people who want a straightforward, honest whiskey with a good story and a fair price. The Southern Reserve line has picked up multiple SIP Awards, and the bourbon and rye pair well on a bar shelf. It works neat, on the rocks, or in a Whiskey Sour or a simple rye and cola, and it makes an easy gift for any Moonshiners fan.Buy Tim Smith Southern Reserve Rye Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
