Drumshanbo Sausage Tree Vodka｜ Other Products

Drumshanbo Sausage Tree Vodka comes from The Shed Distillery in County Leitrim, Ireland, the home of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. Founder PJ Rigney's travels took him to the African Serengeti, where he discovered Kigelia africana, the sausage tree, and saw a kinship with the wild Irish nettle of Drumshanbo's woodlands. He combined the two botanicals with Irish grain spirit for a vodka meant to embody the purest flavors of nature, bottled at 86 proof. The botanicals give it more character than a neutral vodka: a soft herbal, faintly green freshness on the nose, a smooth, slightly sweet palate with a gentle earthy depth, and a clean, crisp finish. It is excellent ice cold, in a vodka martini with a twist, or in a highball with tonic and cucumber. This 750ml bottle is a distinctive craft vodka from one of Ireland's most inventive distilleries.
