Myers's notes: a bold nose dominated by dark molasses, leather, coffee, and charred oak, then deep dark cherry, brown sugar, and toasted oak, finishing robust with strong oak and smoky undertones. Yahoo found cherry cola and treacle, with the elevated proof allowing a lengthy finish where toasted oak and campfire smoke emerge — very much a rum, but one for drinkers who appreciate full-flavored American whiskey.
