Hinch Small Batch Irish Whiskey is the entry point to the Hinch Distillery range from Ballynahinch, County Down. It is a blend of Irish grain and malt whiskeys matured in selected ex-bourbon barrels and finished in virgin American oak, then bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof). The bourbon wood delivers caramel and vanilla, and the virgin oak finish adds a touch of spice and toasted depth. The texture is smooth and the finish balanced between sweetness and oak. It is versatile enough to sip neat, pour over ice, or mix into an Irish coffee, a whiskey ginger or a Hot Toddy. This 750ml bottle is a well-priced everyday Irish whiskey from one of Northern Ireland's newer distilleries.
