The NiSi Wide Conversion Lens Kit for Ricoh GR IV is a complete wide-angle accessory kit designed to help photographers capture more of the scene without compromising the shooting experience. Ideal for street, travel, landscape, architectural, and interior photography, the kit components are made of lightweight and durable precision-machined aluminum alloy. It includes the NiSi PR-10 0.78x Wide Conversion Lens and the dedicated NiSi PR-8 49mm Filter Adapter for Ricoh GR IV, providing everything needed to mount the conversion lens securely to the camera. Once attached, the system transforms the GR IV's native 28mm equivalent focal length into a wider 21mm equivalent field of view.
Wider Perspective
The NiSi PR-10 0.78x Wide Conversion Lens expands the Ricoh GR IV's native 28mm equivalent lens to a wider 21mm equivalent field of view. This wider field of view captures more of the surrounding environment, making it easier to photograph large scenes, tight interiors, dramatic architecture, expansive landscapes, and immersive street compositions.
Dedicated Adapter
The included NiSi 49mm Filter Adapter for Ricoh GR IV is purpose-built for the GR IV body and replaces the Ricoh GN-3 ring adapter. It provides a secure threaded connection for the wide conversion lens while maintaining a clean, integrated profile on the camera. It features NiSi's secure auto-lock mechanism, which is designed to prevent loosening or accidental detachment during use.
Macro Mode Compatible
The NiSi Wide Conversion Lens is fully compatible with the Ricoh GR IV Macro Mode. It enables moving from wide-angle scenes to close-up details without removing the lens. This makes the kit suitable for photographers who move quickly between wide environmental frames and detailed close-up images.
Antireflective Nano Coating
The optical elements feature NiSi's advanced multilayer nano coating to help reduce internal reflections, flare, and ghosting. The coating helps maintain cleaner contrast, better clarity, and richer color reproduction across the frame. This is especially useful when shooting in bright sunlight, strong backlight, city lights, or high-contrast environments.
Filter Compatibility
With the wide-angle conversion lens removed, the included adapter provides a standard 49mm filter thread for expanding the camera's creative and protective options. This facilitates two practical shooting setups: use the wide conversion lens for a 21mm equivalent field of view or remove it and use the standard 49mm filters for light control, protection, or creative filter effects.
Full Functionality Retained
The kit does not interfere with normal camera operations. Autofocus, metering, auto exposure, and shooting modes continue to work as expected, allowing the camera to remain fast, responsive, and ready to shoot. It simply expands the camera's perspective while adding secure adapter integration, macro mode support, and premium optical performance in a compact, purpose-built system.
Durable Build
The lens and the adapter are made from durable, lightweight aluminum alloy. The included front and rear metal lens caps protect the optics from dust, scratches, and damage when the lens is stored or transported.
