Worth Discovering｜Dianthus - Rockin' Rose｜ Other Products

Dianthus ‘Rockin’ Rose’ is bold, fragrant, and beautifully free-flowering, delivering a long season of vivid deep rose to magenta blooms. Its tidy blue-green foliage stays attractive even when the plant is out of bloom, making it a useful edging plant for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and sunny pathways.
Also known as a carnation or pinks-type dianthus, ‘Rockin’ Rose’ brings classic spicy clove fragrance close to where gardeners can enjoy it. The richly colored flowers are lovely for cutting, and the compact mounding habit makes it easy to tuck into mixed beds, patio pots, and pollinator plantings. Pair it with lavender, yarrow, salvias, violas, ornamental grasses, and silver foliage for a fresh, romantic display.
Plant Dianthus ‘Rockin’ Rose’ in full sun with well-drained soil. Good drainage is essential for healthy growth and strong perennial performance. Reaching about 12–18" tall, it adds bright color, fragrance, and tidy structure without taking up much room. Explore more fragrant border favorites in our Dianthus - Carnation collection.
