Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer｜ Other Products

A superb, near mint example of the most iconic drum machine of all time. In perfect working order - fully serviced and tested for us by a top synth technician.
100v machine - see below for more information on voltage.
Cosmetic condition is very clean with only minor signs of age; what stands out on this machine is the lack of fading of the buttons and knob caps - the Start/Stop and Tap buttons still have a deep orange colour. In terms of signs of age there are some very small spots on the face (hard to see in the photos - not oxidation but they don't come off); marks on the edges and end panels; signs of previous battery damage (but battery holder has been replaced). It is becoming harder to find clean 808s and this one is great example. This is an investment that you can enjoy...
We have sold many excellent 808s covered by our guarantee to satisfied customers - buy with confidence. If you want to know more about who we are how we do business please visit our site.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.

It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use or if you are using the internal amp to drive speakers (this is not necessary in order to use it as an EQ/effect).
A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
