Dos Artes Reserva Especial Extra Anejo｜ Other Products

Reserva Especial Extra Añejo is the crown jewel of the Dos Artes line — aged well beyond three years and released in very limited quantities, with layered fig, molasses, dark chocolate, and toasted oak. Dos Artes means two arts — the tequila and the bottle — and every liter ceramic is hand-painted by Mexican artisans over a three-day process, so no two are alike; the tequila is 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave from Jalisco. The Reserva Especial Extra Añejo is slow-cooked agave, double-distilled, aged well past the three-year extra añejo minimum in French and American oak, and bottled at 40% ABV in the classic-design hand-painted one-liter decanter; check your bottle for the release details. For Tequila Lovers: richer and more complex than standard añejos, fig, molasses, dark chocolate, and toasted oak, for collectors and for life's biggest moments. Expect a deep mahogany pour with a nose of dried fig, prune, molasses, dark chocolate, and cedar, opening into a dense, silky, sweet palate of caramel, cocoa, dried fruit, and oak tannin with a very long, warm finish. Honest note: a collector's extra añejo in a collector's bottle at a collector's price — for the Cognac drinker and the gift that has to be the best one. Neat, in a snifter, slowly.
